Dove High Over the Storm

This student film is inspired by “Dove High Over the Storm,” a song written by overseas Falun Dafa practitioners. It is based on true events surrounding the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China, during which many practitioners were persecuted to death, leaving their children as orphans.

The film begins with a young girl living a happy, peaceful life with her parents. Suddenly, Chinese Communist police officers burst into their home and arrest her parents, forcing the girl to flee and survive on her own. Through her faith and resilience, she resolves to carry on her parents’ legacy by raising awareness and telling the world that Falun Dafa is good.
