Shen Yun Performing Arts principal dancer Angelia Wang takes us on a journey to discover the wonders of classical Chinese dance. Classical Chinese dance has been passed down for thousands of years in both folk culture and imperials courts. Having been refined by the cultural characteristics of various dynasties, classical Chinese dance eventually developed into one of the most comprehensive dance systems in the world. Today, Shen Yun uses classical Chinese dance as its main art form in performances, reviving 5,000 years of divine culture on stages across the world. This series will unveil the history and secrets of classical Chinese dance that have never before been publicized. In this series, Angelia Wang also shares insights from her decade plus of stage experience and artistic journey.
